This course provides you with the opportunity to develop skills in reading, listening, talking and writing in German, which are essential for learning, for work and for life. Learn to use different media effectively for learning and communication; to develop understanding of how language works; and to use language to communicate ideas, opinions and information.

Learning a language enables connections with different people and their cultures and to play a fuller part as global citizens. The ability to use language effectively lies at the centre of thinking and learning. Develop the skills to reflect, communicate, and develop ideas through language.
The course consists of 24 SCQF credit points which includes time for preparation for course assessment. The notional length of time for candidates to complete the course is 160 hours.
