NPA Legal Studies
Next Course Starts:
The National Progression Award (NPA) in Legal Studies has been
developed with the purpose of providing candidates with the basic legal
skills and knowledge required for further study and/or employment where a
basic understanding of the law may enhance career prospects. The award
consists of two mandatory units which are nested as part of the NC in Legal
Services.
Successful completion of entry test.
No previous qualifications required.
The National Progression Award in Legal Studies at SCQF level 6 has been designed to provide candidates with a fundamental knowledge of Scots Law which will primarily facilitate progression into further academic qualifications, but may be useful for entry level employment in a range of sectors.
