Introduction to Creative Writing is a non-accredited course (i.e. there is no formal award or qualification to be gained) therefore there are no entry requirements. The course is an ideal introduction for anyone wishing to begin writing - whether for profit, personal satisfaction or to gain access to an accredited course in Literature and / or Creative Writing.
This six-week creative writing taster course is a non-accredited course (i.e. there is no formal award or qualification to be gained) therefore there are no entry requirements. It should be useful to anyone wishing to write for fun, work or profit and also for those completing a portfolio of writing for N5, H or AH English.
National 5 English; Higher English; Advanced Higher English
The course consists of six (approx. two-hour) lessons which cover the basic principles of writing in different genres and provide practical activities and assignments to allow you to experiment with different writing styles and techniques. Lessons are sent weekly and tutor feedback is provided on each weekly assignment.
